They can't stabilize Doug enough to move him. They've had to shock him twice to get his heart rate down, and are still struggling to maintain his blood pressure.
They've made arrangements to have someone here to do dialysis overnight, assuming he makes it that long.
But the very, very hard truth is that it's looking more and more as though he's reached a point from which he cannot recover.
I'm not giving up, and neither is his care team, but nothing is working, and he's becoming worse and worse every minute.
Thank you for the love, and the prayers, and the offers to help. But honestly, unless you have the power to make him better, there is absolutely nothing anyone can do for me.
